Clay Walker

FRIDAY • SEPTEMBER 21 • 7:30 PM

Orchestra: $50 | Mezzanine: $45 | Balcony: $40

Clay Walker, one of the most successful country artists of the past few decades, topped the Billboard Country singles chart in 1993 with “What’s It to You” and followed with his second consecutive #1 hit, “Live Until I Die.”

Clay made a name for himself on the competitive Texas honky tonk circuit before graduating to success on a national level. His smooth, evocative voice and energetic stage presence quickly established Walker as the latest Texas export to find national acclaim and a lengthy string of hits followed. He has placed 31 titles on Billboard’s Singles chart including chart toppers “Dreaming With My Eyes Open,” “If I Could Make A Living,” “This Woman and This Man,” and “Rumor Has It,” amassing four platinum-selling albums and two gold albums.

In addition to his busy touring schedule, Clay founded the non-profit, Band Against MS, after overcoming obstacles of the disease. His compassion for men and women in the armed forces led him to co-found Military Warriors Support Foundation and serve the people who serve our country on a personal level.

The Earls of Leicester

The Earls of Leicester
The Earls of Leicester: Presented by Jerry Douglas

SATURDAY • SEPTEMBER 29 • 7:30 PM

Orchestra: $35 | Mezzanine: $30 | Balcony: $25

The Earls of Leicester have discovered a kind of magic that allows moments, once relegated to memories, to roar back to life. Conjure images of a bygone era when Lester Flatt, Earl Scruggs and the Foggy Mountain Boys were at the peak of their electrifying showmanship.

At an Earls’ show, straightman intros and sly asides transform the spaces between songs into a tap-dancing combination of context, comedy and history lessons, inspired by their bluegrass predecessors. The six-man band includes dobro master Jerry Douglas plus acclaimed writer, producer and solo artist Shawn Camp on lead vocals and guitar; renowned banjoist Charlie Cushman; veteran bluegrasser Jeff White on vocals and mandolin; Barry Bales on vocals and bass; and fiddler extraordinaire, Johnny Warren. In 2015, the Earls amassed more IBMA awards than anyone, including Entertainers of the Year, Instrumental Group of the Year and Gospel Recorded Performance of the Year to name a few.

Big Bad Voodoo Daddy

Big Bad Voodoo Daddy
Big Bad Voodoo Daddy

SATURDAY • OCTOBER 6 • 7:30 PM

Orchestra: $35 | Mezzanine: $30 | Balcony: $25

Together for over 25 years, Big Bad Voodoo Daddy has appeared in concert venues across the world, sold millions of records and their music has appeared in hundreds of movies and television shows. With sold-out concerts from the Hollywood Bowl to Lincoln Center, appearances with many of the country’s finest symphony orchestras, and television appearances ranging from Dancing with the Stars to Superbowl XXXIII, Big Bad Voodoo Daddy continues its decades long mission to celebrate and revitalize jazz and swing music — America’s original musical art form — and bring joy to audiences around the world.

Early on, during their legendary residency at the Derby nightclub in Los Angeles,

they reminded the world, in the midst of the grunge era no less, that it was still cool to swing. The band, co-founded by singer Scotty Morris and drummer Kurt Sodergren, was at the forefront of the swing revival of that time, blending a vibrant fusion of the classic American sounds of jazz, swing and dixieland, with the energy and spirit of contemporary culture.
