This marks the 10th consecutive time since the list was started 12 years ago. The Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption surveyed the nation’s employers in search of those with the best adoption benefits. 25 Years of Giving Video Contest winners announced; Tri-Cities area organizations to receive $10,000

The First Horizon Foundation, which operates as First Tennessee Foundation and Capital Bank Foundation, is proud to announce the nonprofit winners of its 25 Years of Giving Video Contest, commemorating its 25 years of strengthening communities.
A total of $275,000 will be awarded to 35 organizations across Florida, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas and Virginia who will receive grant awards ranging from $2,500 to $25,000 for their organization’s compelling stories.

The Northeast Tennessee area winners are as follows:

• Brother's Keeper of Johnson City, TN
• Second Harvest Food Bank of Northeast TN, Kingsport, TN

“The community caring of Northeast Tennessee is tremendous and we are thrilled that two of our many deserving organizations will receive this special celebratory award in the First Tennessee Foundation 25th anniversary video contest,” said Gerald Hallenbeck, First Tennessee’s Northeast Tennessee Market.

Today also marks the opening of the 2019 grant cycle. Eligible nonprofits are encouraged to submit their funding requests for consideration by Dec.1.
