Database Administrator Christian Medical & Dental Associations, the world’s largest faith-based organization of healthcare professionals, is seeking a full-time Database Administrator. This position is responsible for the planning, implementation, and administration of CMDA’s databases. The DBA will strive to maintain and improve the performance, accuracy, integrity, and security of the data and will provide access to this data in ways that best support the growth and management of CMDA ministries and supporting processes. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES Manage, program, administer, and upgrade CMDA’s SQL databases for optimal performance, accuracy, integrity, and security. Manage and support iMIS (CMDA’s Association Management Software) including user support, customizations, troubleshooting, patches, integrations, and general support. Monitor the Service Help Desk, addressing all issues & tasks assigned to IT for data and iMIS. Fulfill user data requests and develop SSRS reports to facilitate staff access to accurate, relevant, and timely data. Manages the database to ensure the accuracy and integrity of constituent records and transactional records. This includes compliance with applicable data privacy and security requirements. Oversees the integrity of membership data and statistics, and ensures best practices are used consistently in reporting this information. Work with ministry and support staff to identify, select, and implement iMIS and 3rd party software applications that improve the ability of staff to carry out CMDA’s mission more effectively and efficiently. Work with iMIS RiSE websites to develop and support membership portal webpages and staff webpages. Utilizing intimate knowledge of CMDA data, assist Senior Management in tactical and strategic decisions regarding initiatives in areas such as growing and retaining membership, increasing revenue streams, etc. Assist CMDA staff and leadership with iMIS applications through training and process improvement. Control backups and disaster recovery avenues for SQL databases. Maintain structural and referential integrity of database tables, views and stored procedures. Create and manage database visualizations and dashboards that assist CMDA staff and executive leadership with data tracking in support of CMDA goals & initiatives. Assist other IT team members with technical support for CMDA staff on occasion, as needed. Other duties as assigned by to ensure fulfillment of CMDA’s mission.
